Hello, my name is Maja. I work full-time as freelance graphic designer and illustrator. I'm mostly focused on logo design, branding, editorial design, typography, poster design, and illustration.
Coming from a family of painters and sculptors I had always been surrounded by creativity which fueled my artistic aspirations. I discovered how to express myself through design. I try to bring optimism and a fresh perspective while working closely with clients' original intents and with a great awareness on the message we want to communicate. I pride myself on differentiating my style from the market overwhelmed by an onslaught of cheap, copy/paste solutions.
While attending university I've founded the creative studio Bruka Notes with a colleague. It specializes in producing notebooks, agendas, tote bags, posters, and different kind of accessories. This entrepreneurial venture has helped me define my personal style which has gotten recognition by the Contrast Publishing House and Cultural Center of Belgrade.
All this experience has thoroughly developed my ability to work well under pressure, both individually and in a team. I am always punctual, inquisitive and eager to provide creative proposals and suggestions.
